This saree features a slate grey body crafted from a structured, texturized silk fabric with a subtle raw silk sheen. The main body is decorated with a clean, minimalist pattern of dull gold zari windowpane checks. A major highlight is its distinct, multi-layered border, which features a wide mited zari band adorned with square blocks of traditional, tribal-inspired elephant and bird motifs in red, olive green, and black, all edged by a sharp black-and-white geometric trim. This motifs-in-grids theme beautifully expands into the striking, contrast-blocked pallu, where the background shifts to a solid black panel heavily decorated with repeating matrix grids of stylized birds, caparisoned elephants, and heritage symbols rendered in bold red, grey, and white threadwork.
